What UCSD AMAL Will Offer
Every AMAL HOUSE chapter launches with the same proven suite of programs that have already helped hundreds of students at our active chapters. Here's what students at University of California, San Diego can look forward to.
One-on-One Mentorship
Get matched with a Muslim American professional alumni who has navigated the same career challenges you face. Mentors commit to regular sessions throughout the academic year, helping you build skills and navigate your field of choice.
Career Fairs & Employer Connections
Our chapter career fairs bring companies and organizations specifically interested in hiring Muslim American talent. Past fairs have led directly to internships and full-time offers for participants across engineering, finance, healthcare, and more.
Alumni Networking Events
Beyond one-on-one mentorship, AMAL HOUSE hosts mixers, panels, and professional development workshops where students meet dozens of alumni at once — expanding their network and discovering industries they may never have considered.
Community & Leadership Development
Chapter leadership roles give students hands-on experience organizing events, managing volunteer teams, and building an institution. Our most successful mentees often return as mentors and chapter leaders after graduation.
